Jan Lüttgens

Jan is a curious physical-chemist with a passion for optics. He has a sound background in designing and building optical microscopes for Fourier imaging and spectroscopy. As a practitioner, he has a strong sense for user-friendliness and performance. Jan enjoys working in teams, contributing his expertise in optics, as well as his knowledge in chemistry and material science. Jan has a PhD in physical chemistry from Heidelberg University, where he studied light-matter hybridization.

In his free time, Jan enjoys the sound of analogue synthesizers and investigates which plants survive the Swedish winter.
