Katharina is a curious and passionate physicist who likes to push the limits in order to make demanding experiments possible. She is a team player with an international background in optical research. She holds expertise in designing and building optical systems for confocal microscopy and semiconductor spectroscopy and measurements at the single photon level for quantum technologies. Katharina holds a PhDs in applied physics from KTH where she did research in quantum optics.

In her free time, you will find Katharina either trying to push her own limits while bouldering or running or experimenting on some new recipes.
