Husqvarna sewing machine
Eclipse designed the illumination optics for the Husqvarna Viking Designer Epic sewing and embroidery machine. Using lightguides, the challenge was to achieve uniform, shadow-free illumination across the entire sewing area — even when the user’s hands are in the way — within very limited space.

Challenge: Create uniform, shadow-free illumination on the sewing area with very limited space. The illumination area needed to be large enough to prevent shadows from the user’s hands.
